Over the past year I have been challenged with learning DMX controls for lighting and fixtures. DMX, or Digital Multiplexing, is an older technology used to control things like stage, DJ, and band lighting, as well as other fixtures. When you see an event such as a light show that is synchronized to music, those are typically being controlled by DMX software and hardware.

DMXite started as just that, a simple self-challenge. Over the previous several months I had started to work with Ai and built a few database applications at work. This time I wanted to play and just see if I could build something fun and I did. This was one of the most challenging and fun projects I’ve worked on. My background prior to IT was Electronic Engineering so I got to incorporate the nearly 35 years of IT experience and knowledge with my roots.
